Testing is not an admission of any type of behaviour and we actually encourage all players to take this test regardless of how they feel about their gambling habits. If you believe gambling has become a problem in your life and it has grown in importance to you, please take a few minutes to complete the self-assessment test, as it may be the first step towards a successful recovery.
The assessment is comprised of 20 questions to which you must answer yes or no, the easiest way will be to write them down on a piece of paper and then sum up the results.
Are you unsure if your gambling is becoming a problem? Answering the following questions may help you decide:
If you answered “Yes” to seven or more of these questions, you could be a problem gambler, but help is available!
NOTE: If you suspect that you have a gambling problem, you should seek help for that problem regardless of how you score on this screening test. Scores on this test are not meant as a diagnosis tool! This self-assessment will help you figure out if there is a problem, but only a professional can diagnose if it is a gambling problem, a different problem, or both.
